D Block welcomed a film screening in its indoor space. Blueberry Dreams is a beautiful, quietly powerful documentary by Georgian filmmaker Elene Mikaberidze. The film takes us into the lives of the Meladze family, who live near the de facto border in Zugdidi, running a small guesthouse and tending to their blueberry farm. The screening was part of a charity evening. Member's had a chance to support the family directly — we sold their fresh Georgian blueberries, with all proceeds going to them.
